Yesterday I got all my parts in order.
She ignites and dies after idling for a second or two.
I checked over my work and all looked good until I pulled the injectors.
All 4 were spraying like garbage including a brand new one I bought.
So I bought some break cleaner and cleaned off the tips as well as the outside to make them all shiny.
Retested them with a switch that connected the 87 to 30 terminal on the fuse. They sprayed better but not well.. Still a little stream on a couple with one being flat out trashed..
But I still had a little hope for starting her so I could put some fuel system cleaner in whilst it running. I got her to idle for several seconds as well as be responsive to gas! SUPER EXCITED
BUT.. The injectors are still to blame I suspect and are flooding my engine. They did sit around for about a year with gas in the tank.. SO probably rusted.
I tried back flushing an old injector but couldn't get it to work.
I want to try to salvage these injectors first.. Any ideas on how to clean them?

ALSO if you have injectors that do work don't be afraid to message me with a quote.

I fiddled with my old ones a bit and wasn't able to get them to spray well. I even tried back flushing in an ultrasonic cleaner. I ended up buying new injectors on ebay for $22.75 each. It made a world of difference. These are the ones I bought:

They're a standard FJ46 injector. You might even be able to find them cheaper. I know it's about $100 for all 4, but it's well worth the money to have a car that runs well.

Awesome. I stumbled upon these yesterday and was going to ask someone if they would actually fit the 924 but I think you just answered my question for me ha.

Did you ever get her running? I believe I am having the same issue here, but have yet to test a couple of my injectors because the tips of a couple injector wires snapped on me from their old age. I could tell the lines were clogged with nasty buildup as well so this may be another possible issue why injectors may not be releasing gas

Fuel pump the right one?
Fuel pump getting enough amps?
Any restriction on the fuel filter or fuel acumulator?
