I need new wheels for my 79 924 this summer
I don't need the extra braking of disc brakes and would like to avoid the cost of full 5 lug swap
I was thinking of getting wheel adapters to get to 4x100
I Really like the new Konig Dial-in(11lbs)
http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/61-1393.html
The oem 924 wheel offset is 33.8mm
The spacer would be 25.4
Konig Dial-In offset is 35
So my question is will these 7inch wheel with a total offset of 10.4mm would fit on the 924?
My calculation says it would stick out 1.3 inches more than oem
or do you guys know of low price lightweight wheels that could come with 0 offset or negative offset?[/url] _________________ 1979 924 NA |

No early 944's in the yards up there for you to scalp the brake parts from?
Also, since the suspension is VW based, perhaps there's a combination of parts you can put together to get 4x100 without using adapters?
Perhaps some of the brake upgrades produced for the Super Beetle or VW Vanagon? Check out CIP1.ca and see what they have for possible swap parts?
As to your questions about the spacing, I'd say a stock 924 has 1.3" of room in the fender wells since the wheels aren't 100% to the edge of the body. _________________ Stefan

| '79-'93 Ford Mustang's are a 4x108 lug pattern. |
