When I replaced my dash on my 79 924 many years ago I didn't remember this being an issue. So I just now tried removing the switch and squeezed the plastic tabs on the side behind the dash and promptly broke off the tab on one side.
So I guess I can't help -- now where did I put that epoxy glue? I hope you are successful. |

Michael, you have my regard for your magnanimous offer. I was able to fix the switch securely with some epoxy my son had left over from an electronics project and a shaped piece of flexible plastic from a "findings" box I've kept for many years -- now the switch fits as good as new.
I couldn't find any links on this site to the "Models and History" section. With Google I found this car on a similar domain -- Is this your Sebring? http://www.924.org/models/Sebring.htm
If so, it's most impressive! |

Yes that's my baby, I have had her for 26 years now. Just had her out last night for a spin and she worked flawlessly. Best Regards Michael _________________ Not just a 924, A 79 Sebring,Correct and Right
