I picked up that craigslist car that was up in Rhode Island. It really isn't bad. sorting through vacuum hoses, oil leaks and the usual 931 bs but really a strong runner. Has a new turbo, new fuel pump, new windshield. was originally a two tone white over guards red car. crappy lacquer paint sprayed over the red.

Red/white is a beautiful pain scheme. . .I would be tempted to try cutting through the white. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Red over white paint is spot on, I love it, can't quite put my finger on why!!
Get euro bumpers and ditch the side markers and it'll be perfect!! _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

Wazzup with those bogus looking plates?
Nice score. We have to compare notes when the weather clears up. _________________ 1982 931- Stock with MBC at 8psi

What? You don't like my retro plates? Took these off an exgirlfriends Monte Carlo back in 1987. Real guidette chick from massapequa. Looks like we aren't going to get that break in the weather in the next few days...but we have to connect. I do a breakfast Sunday mornings once a month with some motorhead friends so Ill let you know.
Re: red and white.
I like it a lot and I have to say your car looks stunning. You don't see that combo. I might pick up some 3m vinyl dinoloc film and wrap the lower half in red. We'll see. All my focus is getting #99 turbo to the paint shop when this stinking New York weather breaks. |
