Those rocker trim pieces were OE on some (presumably later) 924/931 (or was it only 931?).
Cars that got them also got welded-on metal tabs to hold the trim in place.
Here's my car after re-painting, before the trim was re-attached. The 6 tabs are visible -

Ahhh I see. I've been trying to think of some way to improve the look of those ugly sides, but so far I got nothing Beautiful car by the way! that color looks awesome |
