Hi all
I've had car on road since February. Car is running good, seems to be improving the more it is driven. Was sitting for 4 years before I got it.

Anyway, I had a look at the injectors as I was thinking of replacing them. The part number on the existing is 0 437 502 050. While they should be 013's, last 3 digits (braided lines). So someone has replaced them at some stage. I thought I'd see what vehicle the 050 suits. Bosch gives the appliction for Bentley and Rolls Royce 6.8 litre V8. I've ordered set of 013, so will be interesting to see what effect they'll have. I haven't been able to find any specs, pressure let through, flowrates etc to compare them.

I'll let you know, what difference they make. Should have them early next week.
Cheers
Mark

FYI I got a set of injectors from Australian Fuel Injection down here in Sydney, although I think they have a branch in QLD too. Cheapest price inc. from the US.

Thanks Daniel, I saw that in one of your earlier posts. They turned up today sooner than I expected, overnight from Sydney. So that was pretty good. The old injectors are actually 005 not 050. From Peugot and Volvo 2.7litre 6cylinder. So not as extreme as I first thought. They both phsically look the same, must be internal differences, springs, pressures etc.

Cleaned up injector housings and installed new injectors. Idles a bit lower than before and smoother acceleration. Will check consumption over the next few weeks.
