|
|
It's been three (and a half!) years since I traded my 924 for the 968.
I love my 968; I love the power and the solid feel.
Do I miss my 924...? Well...
I still see her from time to time, and I still think it's one of the prettiest coupes ever.
Driving it, it felt more nimble, more agile than her big sister and, although it doesn't have the same grunt, it never felt underpowered. In every day traffic there's very little in it...
I'm sticking with my 968 and I could never go 'back' to having a 924, but there'll always be a place in my heart for the old girl! _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

Hiss! Booo! Grumble...growl...
Ha, just kidding, that sure is a nice looking one, I'm sure it was hard to let it go.
I guess the '68 is better, if you're into ugly ducklings and what not. Uhhh...you got any pics? _________________ I got nothin'

Your 924 is a nice car, the 968 is an evolution of the 924...so it must be better in most ways.
i'd want a 968 too..but not with stock body...its just..an ugly duckling _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Yes, the 924 is definitely the prettier car... _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

Better equiped, quieter, very nice interior, EFI, PAS, more power when you finally ( ) get that big engine spinning...
Downsides: heavier (which you definitely feel), harder and harsher suspension (which you definitely feel on poor road surfaces) and, as mentioned earlier, not as pretty... _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

I hope you remember it from the Nurburgring a few years back, Morghen... _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)
