Has anyone recently bought the rubber parts for the 924 Euro front bumper?
Euro bumper is painted and fitted to the '78 (lordie.... it looks SO much better than the US version), just need the rubber parts to finish it off.
Any help sourcing would be very much appreciated.

You will probably need to get them from Europe, and it shouldn't be too bad to ship just the rubber bits as they're light and will fit in a small box. I would start checking UK ebay for someone selling Euro bumpers and contact them to see if they would part out the rubber bits you need.

+1 for checking eBay UK. Also check eBay Germany. That's where I found my 944 euro bumper.

Sure I`ve got a pair of spare ones down the back shed.

$29.95 for a cheap case of beer should motivate me.

Plus shipping.

Hey Ideola, would you ever consider making replicas of your CGT front bumperettes? i think they complete a CGT conversion. RoW 944 ones aren't the right shape and the genuine thing is NLA. I wouldn't care if they are rubber, fibreglass or plastic, as long as they looked right and were black and available! could be a hole i the market...?

you try doing a search for a couple of places i have used, you can try elliot at porkaparts, i think he is helpfull but if he doesnt have any theres someone else i used called porsch-a -part, but be aware using him, i said do you have some parts (only cosmetic bits like wheel nut covers, center caps and the like to make it complete after the respray), he said yes, i sent him a cheque and he then tells me there on back order! So just check he ACTUALLY has them in stock if you use him and gives you a price list.

Maybee 924's parts arent as important to him as a boxter, certainly keeping a reputation for being straight up as i have been waiting 2 weeks is beginning to make me wonder, the rear rubber from porsche took 3 days from germany when orderd, only bettered by volvo marine engines, any parts, anywhere outlet in the world, 3 days.Could believe that! I will give it till the end of the respray and ask for my money back. Hopefully he should be helpfull.

Cant offer a great deal of help other than that. look on ebay.co.uk or contact another uk member.
