Well, the surprises keep on coming!
When replacing the brakes I found a badly crushed brake line going to the left hand rear drum.
Interesting thing is the brake line on the 1978 model ran over the suspension arm whilst the brake lines i got off my parts car 1980 run under.
1 step closer to getting on the road _________________ 1978 924 RoW 5-Speed (Current Project)

I discovered the same issue on my 81 NA that came with 4-lugs when I removed the 4-lug to replace with 5-lug, only mine was on the rear right. My theory is that it got crushed from someone jacking on the bottom of the shock mount. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Static weight alone wouldn`t do that Dan. Not unless there were no TBs or they were very much lowered.
Many Aussie potholes are deep enough to hide a kangaroo though! _________________ World`s quickest 924 2L slushbox
