This past week I went to Portland to help a friend move and I really liked it there. I like it enough that I just might have to move there myself.
So, I was walking around in the Park Rose neighborhood that my friend has moved into and I encountered a 924 at about 105th and Wygant St.

In this street view we see a cool dune buggy, but in the real world, there is a russett red, rather rough-looking daily driver 924 there. How nifty is that? If i'd had my camera with me I would have taken a picture. Oh well, use your imagination. _________________ Fred- 1979 924 |

I think I am going to attempt to drive Fred (I'm naming my toofah Fred. It's a good name) out to Portland in July to see the vintage racing and to attend the meet-up that has been discussed elsewhere on this message board, and that will probably be the best time to meet you good Portland 924 afficionados. Not that the idea did not cross my mind, just that I had other things to do. _________________ Fred- 1979 924 |

No drunk people, but I did awaken to a congregation of folks gathered on the corner passing blunts back and forth and stinking up the neighborhood. but it's Portland, so I guess that's to be expected. _________________ Fred- 1979 924 |

I like the Parkrose area, lots of racers and racing related stuff and some decent little houses in and around the industrial areas.
Parkrose hardware is a great hardware store. Lots of their bits and pieces are on my cars
Also McMenamins Kennedy School isnt too far from there, great place to chill with a beer
Would love it if you could come on out with your loofah, the more the merryer _________________ Stefan
