I have a 1977 Porsche 924, and like all of you have I have a cold start problem, I was just wondering if maybe you guys could just give me some bullet points on all options that I should try, I've looked into quite a bit of things, but any suggestions would be great! And I do know that this topic is covered all the time, I'm not looking for explanations, just bullets so I know where and what to research. Thanks!
The second is I'm having this "problem", and maybe if anyone could explain why when running hot the average RPMs are much higher than when idling cold. Maybe this is an obvious thing, I'm still new to these cars so any info would be awesome.
Thanks _________________ Porsche 924 |

First thing I would check is the WUR, to see if it's functioning properly. To get at it, the best thing you can do is remove the intake manifold. Second of all, I would also check the one cold start injector, which I think is on the intake manifold...
I hope this helps to a small degree. _________________ 1977 Porsche 924 - sold

+1, get a manual and a CIS tester to check WUR function. Also carefully go through the entire intake tract and eliminate all vaccuum leaks. _________________ Toofah King Bad
