No. The "S" designation to which I believe you are referring was only on the 1979 924 NA and the 1980 924 Turbo.

History Lesson.

The US-spec 1982 931 should have come standard with five lug suspension, but I don't believe they all came with the M471 option. Also pretty sure they didn't all come with the Gullideckel (flat dish) wheels. Those were both options. Should have an Audi 5-speed trans (US 79-80 931 and all Euro 931 had the G31 trans). While I've seen reference that the '82 could get the Audi trans with LSD, I personally have never seen or heard of an '82 with LSD. The late 82 931 would have also had the updated HVAC system that was introduced on the 944.

Well good morning Chuck. It has been a while that I heard from ya. The reason that I ask this car came with a 3 spoke steering wheel in brn leather like a 930 turbo and say's on it motorsport.? It looks factory . My COA has not got here yet to see the option's that it came with. Has race season started yet? I will be it the Hershey swap meet in April ,just look for a gray haired old Griffin.

Tony,
Season starts at Summit in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm still putting together my 911 engine plus bodywork plus tranny so it's getting close.
I'll be at Hershey so I'll look for you . My beard is still grey but I'm cool as ever.
