Great looking 968!!
I hate it when people show off a car and then say "those cool seats and wheels don't go with it, but you can buy them for more money"
Take them off before you list it or include them! _________________ 1977 924na BlackSeaRD.com Torque Tube SuperBearings, Xenon air dam, 200# Weltmeister springs, Bursch header, 944 exhaust, Audi throttle body |

That car's been for sale for over two months at least. There's a thread on it over on RL that has some information on the build but I haven't been able to find it today.
He was originally asking $40K. Last eBay ad was for $30K. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

The 968 Club Sport I listed last year was 50,000. The dude in Minneapolis is down to 30,000! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

$30,000
What does a standard (stock) 968 go for over there?
You can get hold of a tidy example here for around £7000 (maybe $10,000).
Even a 'hot' one wouldn't fetch more than £15,000 ($20,000)... _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

There was a very, very nice black-on-black (mind out of the gutter, ladies) early model going for under 13,000 Canadian Pesos here just recently. Rumour has it that the bloke who sold me the 944 Turbo paid twenty-seven grand of the same for the 968 CS (Europe via Japan - also an adult film star's wet dream) that replaced it...
Thirty thousand real dollars isn't insane, IMHO. But, mate, you'd wanna be keen for unique track star.
BTW, Mike924, there's a one-owner 944 Turbo in the latest PCA magazine, it's an '88 S, not more than 100,000km's, silver rose with the maroon tartan interior... bloke wants 23,000 actual dollars for it! Reckon he'll claim close to that, too... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

^That is a good deal for a rare car. If he really wants to sell it, he should list it on Rennlist. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I don't know about its "the real deal" though. I know there was a batch of 8V 968RS Turbo models built and maybe only a handful of 16V versions... ?
This aint one of them, surely not at that price? Cruise control
Still, a wonderful "replica" and worth every penny IMO. _________________ BANNED |

Just to be clear, I was referring to the $35K 968 CS, not the $30K replica. Yeah, the replica might be faster, but the CS has real provenance and is much rarer. Given the similar price points, if I had some FU money, it would be on the CS, not the replica _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
