Great day at the track today! New tires inspired a lot of confidence, not much squeeling around the corners, fast 90mph straight-away, the Spiker worked great. And, the 14 miles from the RV to the track was 75mph, nice; and 66 degrees in the sunshine is not so bad either. A couple of cool cars, with the obligatory Z06's, three of them, and the one German car, mine. As a nod to the world is getting smaller reality, the owner of the track is from a town 30 miles from my hometown in southern Minnesota. His one and only employee is from the metro area of mpls/st. paul, mn where I used to live.
The owners of the following red car lived years ago, 13 miles from our location in Wisconsin. And, met six guys from Holloman Air Force Base, near our place, in Alamogordo, NM, one of them lives in a different town 30 miles from my hometown in minnesota.
