I was thinking of replacing the connecting rod bearings on my 1978 924 in preparation for an upcoming 24h race. However, looking around I can't find a source for these.

I have checked AutoZone, Oreilly's, Pelican and none of them have a listing.

Where do you buy these things?

TIA, Keith

Thanks for the help guys.

I looked at NAPA, Pep Boys and some other online sites and still could not find anything. However, I was finally able to find them at Autohaus AZ, http://www.autohausaz.com/ .

I never believed that it would be so difficult to find these things.

Cheers, Keith

I'll be surprised if AutohausAZ have them in stock...if you just used their website and didn't call them, you're likely to be disappointed.

I do a know a place where you can get them, however:

I highly endorse Ideola's Garage.

Great source for those hard to get items.

Been using him a lot during my current engine rebuild.

Well it would have been nice to know at the start, but I guess I know where to go next time

AutohausAZ is receiving them Monday, so they will be to me next Tuesday.

Cheers, Keith
