This is the only CGT in Norway. It was imported from Germany in 1986. Recently it came up for sale on the Porsche Club Norway's website.

I didn't think much of it at frist, but I sent an e-mail for more information... He he - well it ended up in my garage! Now I have to pinch myself

looks amazing !!

one question: those sideskirts are plastic / fiber glass? you can take them off like on 931? i'm thinking of installing OEM CGT sideskirts on my car.

Many thanks

The side-skirts are of plastic/glassfiber, not like the polyurethan front fenders, rear fenders, front and scoop. They are of a harder/more compact material, not exactly sure what it is called.

The car looks even better than in the pictures. It has 135.000km on the clock, only 15.000 since 2003. New brakes, shock-absorbers and front tires. It is car number 00243. The Prototypes, CGTS and CGTR are listed from 000...

The options for the car is:
115 Digital Radio with Traffic Decoder
197 88 Amp/H Battery
398 Outside Mirror, heatable and electrically adjustable Drivers Side regular
423 Cassette Holder
425 Rear Window Wiper
431 Leather Covered Sport Steering Wheel 360 mm and Leather Boot for Shift Lever
474 Sport Shock Absorber
528 Outside Mirror, heatable and elctrically adjustable Passenger Side Convex
533 Alarm system
573 Air Conditioner with indreased Blower capacity
650 Sunroof
666 Without Paint and Chrome Protection

Eh - correction. I wrote: Didn't think much of it
I meant to write: I didn't dare consider actually buying it at first. Clearly some whole other meaning to that...

I saw a GTS in my youth, I got to study it real good at a parking lot. It left an awe in me that I still can feel at this day. Compared to everything else I had seen at the time, it was what dreams are made of. I felt it breathed Motorsport out of its "nostrils". I was mesmerized...

It was an unobtainable dream, ever to ovn a piece of Porsche motorsport history. A real homologation special, there is not too many of those in the Porsche "lineup"! It was too expensive, too far to travel to check the car out, too much to think about with 2 other Porsches already in the household. But the urge was too strong One cannot always be sensible...! One day, some way

That is fantastic! A thing of beauty and a piece of history.

I hope you plan on enjoying it the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Responsibly, of course.

Sure it will be used! I had a little trip yesterday - the weather was dry and cold - good for compressed air!
I will use the car for Porsche Club Norway events, and for trips with friends. The car has seen several trips to the Nurburgring with previous owners. From what I understand they had a very good time! The attention the car got in Germany was overwhelming - and they didn't see another CGT, even at the Oldtimer GP WOW
