Got a battery today and it is trying to turn over but just doesnt get there.

I didnt connect the Supplementry Start Valve Wires that are under the dizzy yet though.

Mine appears to have two terminals one closer to the outside of the rim than the other.

I still have to connect a yellow / red that goes to the SSV and a
Brown / White that goes from the SSV

Does anyone know which goes to the connection closest to the rim, I can then work out where the other goes

Oh its a 1980 NA Manual ROW ...

Shouldn't make much difference:
Test the SSV by taking it out and connect one
terminal to a battery pole and wire it to the opposite
and see it work if you want to be/make sure.

Should work both ways IIRC
Its been a while though…

Cheers, Harm.

OK Looking at your picture it appears the Brown / white is closest to the rim, so I will try that first. Mine doesnt seem as easy to get to compared to your picture
