hello
I was getting ready to change fuel pumps and thought this would be a good time to change the hoses going to and from the tank and pump -maybe even to the accumulator. I thought I read somewhere that a -6an standard fuel hose might work for the tank to pump and high pressure (100psi?) for the pump to accumulator.
Does that sound right to anyone who has worked with this before?
Also - the hose appears to have a crimped end connector on the pump side - I was thinking about replacing that with a nylon covered hose and -an fittings with adaptors - does that sound reasonable they say they are rated to 300+psi
Any thoughts?
If anyone has other ideas or sources that would be most welcome.
thanks very much

thanks Grenadiers,
saginaw fit the metric connection? cool,
I was going to go to Summit as well - - -did you make all the hose connections - if so was it very difficult?
I checked a few places on line about how to do that and it did not seem too difficult - but with fuel lines I did not want to mess that up
thanks again

Nah, I inherited that setup, and fittings, when I bought a parts car. Works though, 'cept, I need to trim a hose, and add a longer hose. My FPR is currently zip-tied to the radiator~! Would rather it be attached to the firewall. But, I'm having engine troubles still, and probably will have to pull the motor this spring. I'll redo everything at that time!
I've swapped the FPR fittings back and forth a few times to get a better, more direct, line of hoses, and it isn't difficult. No leaks! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Yes, the 14mm fitting fits the hard return line, and the 15mm fitting fits the larger 10mm hard line. I have my Summit fuel line and return line attached to the OEM fittings under the brake booster. My fuel filter is attached first, then the line, don't do it that way, not much room. I have a complete hard line back home, and plan on cutting that up, bending it, etc., to get the proper setup. _________________ '83 944 Track car.
