I wanna see if i can get this in 3 steps

1) Turn crank to TDC..(line mark on oil pump up with mark on back of crank pulley) then turn Cam gear so that indent at rear of gear lines up with the pointer on the cam cover.

2)Stick belt on and adjust tensioner pulley so that belt can be turned about 90 degrees

3) Turn dizzy rotor to point to spark plug one and turn on..then use a timing light to fine tune

Valves covered here

Timing isn't covered because that is learned really easily.

The first special tool you need to buy is a Haynes manual.

That post was found in under 10 min by using google advanced search.

Also recomended is checking out this post if you plan on keeping your car for a while.

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.

The only problem that I see with the instructions in the link is the FACT that there is nothing mentioned about checking to make sure that the adjustment screw is not turned too far in or too far out.

There are different adjustment screws available, and each has a specific range. There is a special allen driver socket made with the usable screw range marked on the tool, and it makes adjusting the valves easier because you can look down at the tool while adjusting the valves to ensure that the adjustment screw is within range without guessing.
