Hello everyone, i am interested in buying 924 with 2.0 8v NA engine, it is cheap car in my country and very rare and i like it... I am from Montenegro, country that has poor range of parts for cars except vw so this engine will be great for me... Well, this will be my daily car and drift car so i want your opinion, i can do this modes and can it drift properly with these:
-2.0 8v stock engine (maybe with higher compresion ration (head milling))
-coilovers all around
-wellded diff
-14' or 15' inch wheels with bad tires?
I am also interested in flywheel lightweighting (i can't find pics of stock one to see is it possible)?
Is there any camshaft that is more agresive that stock one from some audi or vw stock engine that will fit? Maybe 4.2 v8 audi camshat? I can't afford catcams couse shiping to my country is more expensive than price, so i am asking couse this...
And how much fuel can i extra get from K-jetronic than stock value that it
inject? |

Coilovers for these cars will cost a fortune.
You cant mill the head since its flat to begin with..the combustion takes place inside the cylinder....you can mill the block instead.
welded diff, yes...should be possible.
you want 15 inch or 16 if your engine can spin those...14 inch gives you little speed in first gears so you will be redlining the engine while still going forward.
flywheel lightening..sure..you can find info on this board of how to do it...use the search button.
camshafts also cost alot...buy second hand used ones if you can find..or forget about it.
i think if you lighten the car at the rear end and stiff it up it might be possible to go sideways a bit...but not so much power is available. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Yes you can adjust the AFR. you need a lambda sensor and a reading device to properly tune your engine.
On front you can do this but on the rears its a bit more dificult, you need tall hats for the upper mounts and on the lower mounts there is nothing for the sleves to sit on...and you cant weld them on the rear shocks.
honestly i dont think you need another camshaft..you will see that the factory camshaft is not bad...and other cams cost quite alot. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits
