|
|
I was looking at the inlet manifold and noticed that the runners are oval; 34*38mm(1,34"*1,49"). But when a look at pictures of the 931 head, the inlets are round!? Does anyone have the measurements for the Reinz 931 gasket: 71-25162-10 931 110 147 00? The reason for asking is that I am looking for an intake flange that will fit the 931 head to make a new inlet. Do you know if Golf/Rabbit 16V, Audi I5 or VW 1.8T is close enough?
931 intake and gasket:
By looking at the picture, I have to conclude that the diameter is 35mm, c/c of the bolts 66mm and c/c of the runners 95mm. _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

I machined my own, and blended them into the head. 10mm Ali, a cnc machine and you're done.

Like Steve I used 10mm ali and machined a set of flanges myself - however as I didn't have access to a CNC machine, I ended up using a 100 mm angle grinder, a hacksaw, blu-mole hole saw and a dremel with a milling bit and ended up with the following:
Took a few hours to make but fits the ports perfectly _________________ Remember a Porsche is not just for Christmas,
