Does anyone have the article scanned for "project 924 part 7" in the March 93 issue of european car? I have misplaced my photo-copied book with all the articles and need some part numbers for the fuel accum update. Thank-you to all!

Ya know... I just might have this. PM me offline with what you're looking for exactly and your email info and let me poke around the basement to see what I can find. I'm pretty sure I saved all the EC's with the 924 project but it beats the heck out of me what box they might be in.
For those of you who are uninitiated, there was a series of articles in European Car Magazine (now called something else...) back in the early 90's when they were restoring/upgrading an early n/a 924. Did a bunch of stuff including fuel accumulators, cam, head, exhaust, etc. IIRC, the project ended mid-stream when the car was crashed... |

TMB -- March 93 Article sent. Check your email...
BTW, for anyone else who's interested, in the early 90's European Car magazine did a series of articles on upgrading the 924. For those of you who have been around for a while, you know this series of articles is kind of legendary. Unfortunately, they crashed the car partway through the planned project but what they got to is fairly comprehensive -- like the present article from March 93 where they replaced 2 20cc fuel accumulators with one 40cc accumulator to correct a hot start problem.
As it turns out, I think I have the whole series of articles that European Car magazine did on their "924 Project Car" back in 92-94. Most articles have detailed instructions and documented results (like on the K&N air filter, or the one on cams...), so we're not talking speculation here.
Bottom line: If you haven't seen the series and would like to, please post to this thread. Perhaps there's a way to work out sharing it. |

Me too, although the first step should be contacting the publisher to inquire about reprints. _________________ Toofah King Bad
