My 931 was rebuilt about 4 month's ago only really started to push her around now but picked up that she whould pull in 2nd gear to about 5500 rpm's but as soon as you hit 3rd or 4th gear she will not pull over 400rpm's

I did have a 280S cam put into her which they use in the 924 challenge in South Africa just want to know will it be the timing thats not 100% or what

Does it start to get hot while this is happening? Sounds like its leaning out. Have you replaced the fuel filter?

Improper cam or ignition timing (if series 1) could also cause the drop at 4K.
