I finally cleaned my fuel system out and got my 931 running. Of course it was running rough, so I thought I would adjust the a/f. and.....NO SCREW!! Does anyone have the specs for this screw? Size and length?

You don't need screw specs, you need the Guiness Book of World Records peoples' phone number, because that's the most incredible thing I've heard all day! -A 924 running with no a:f screw?! Call them immediately before you touch anything.

But seriously - you're probably just missing the cover to the hole that the adjuster is down inside of. The a:f adjustement itself is hidden and accessible through a hole that's between the air meterer and the fuel distributor.. Are you in the right spot? If so, that hole should have been blocked either by a rubber plug or a screw (originally from the factory, they had a ball bearing pushed in there). The real adjustment takes a 3mm allen wrench. Don't drop it in there and don't apply any pressure that'll affect the a:f mix while you're adjusting. -And don't even bother adjusting it until your sure there are no vacuum leaks anywhere, the system and control pressures are correct, and the ignition is timed and firing reliably (a:f mix is the last thing to mess with).

Is it the one in the center of the photo, or the one at the bottom? (sorry, kinda huge picture taken in dark garage) Should there be an allen screw where there are threads? I don't see anything resembling an allen head inside either.

It's the hole in the center of your pic where the light is the brightest. You won't see the allen head bolt, it is straight down an inch or so inside the air meter housing. If you stick your 3mm allen wrench straight down the hole you will run into it. You have do it by feel, but it is there.

As Smoothie said, originally the opening had a ball bearing in it to seal it off, so fashion a stopper or seal of some kind to put in it when you are done.

Cheers, Brian

Yeah wow that's a big'un. If you're using a Microsoft operating system, you can use Paint then go into "Image" --> "Stretch/Skew", then enter a smaller and equal value into both "Horizontal:" and "Vertical:" to resize pics before uploading.

The adjustment is down in that center hole (not the one at bottom of the pic). You won't be able to see it, so don't bother looking - just go in with a 3mm allen wrench and feel around for it (and don't drop the wrench).

So, no world record?

Thanks to all for clearing this up for me. I havn't adjusted it and was told the car ran great when parked years ago. What are the odds that I won't need to adjust it once the items Smoothie mentioned are squared away?
