Can someone tell me what this numbers mean (in red circle ):
I took this parts from 931 head. 1979 _________________ 931 82' - 5000km after full engine rebuild
SOLD: 924 81' N/A- with turbo gearbox "dogleg" - great but mysterious car

I looked in the factory manual and those marks were not mentioned---they are most likely some sort of match mark used durin machining.. Make sure the cam shaft turns with no binding after assembly... Not much help from me--sorry.. I was wondering the same thing when I had those parts in my hands _________________ Ron Henderson
