Can someone tell me what this numbers mean (in red circle ):




I took this parts from 931 head. 1979

I looked in the factory manual and those marks were not mentioned---they are most likely some sort of match mark used durin machining.. Make sure the cam shaft turns with no binding after assembly... Not much help from me--sorry.. I was wondering the same thing when I had those parts in my hands
