Hey guys, I found this concept car on vw.com. It is called the concept R. Seems to have the traits of the 914, but more modern, and with a VW badge. I figured some of you might think this is cool since some of the guys on this board have owned a 914 before.

Its RWD and mid engine.

Finally a car from VW that's Right-Wheel-Drive!
Doesn't have much resemblance to a 914, IMO. More like the concept version of the Eon convertible, or whatever it's called, before it came out. |

I dunno, I mean, it doesnt look exactly like a 914, its just the basic design- mid engine, rwd, very short front end. I dunno, I like it though, could be a good mid range sports car if VW decides to make if affordable.
I think they could make lots of money if they made a basic sports convertible that was fast, but lacked all the gadgets you get forced into paying for in the high end sports cars.
