Hi all, long time no post!
Finally got the time to get the engine out of the old girl to get the block decked after the head gasket failed (originally thought I'd got away with just a head skim, but no).
Everything came out sweet and all the bits look great - crank, clutch, shell bearings (light scuffing on centre crank one).
All good news basically.
The reason for posting is this - I'm planning on rebuilding the engine completely before putting it back in the car and was wondering if you can get it in from below, the way I took it out. Anyone done/tried this? _________________ 1982 931. 'Nuff said |

It will go in either way, I prefer the top, but Porsche and many others use the bottom method. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
