|
|
Hi all
I found some off the parts missing from my car
I now have a turbo, exhaust manifoldand oil drain tube
Except for the exhaust i only need a wastegate to have a complete engine again.
The remaining problems are:
The drain tube has a box in the middle connected to a sort of breather pipe going around the turbo where does this connect to?
Tere is another pipe in the engine compartment coming from the airflow sensor going out next to the breather hose from the oil accumulator, this hose is plugged and has no obvious connections. Where does that hook up?
The last question is in regard to the manifold pressure switch Where does it connect to
Unfortunately my Haynes manual is not clear on these points
Can anybody point me in the direction of some photos showing the proper connections

Earlier versions had it going to a Y pipe that's located in the line between the air/oil seperator and crankcase breather.

[Actually, it goes from A:F metering unit to the EEC control valve, then from there it T's off to the charcoal canister and the fuel tank.]

| It's located middle-front of the main air charge tube. You should find a single wire with 1/4" female spade connector in the general area that connects to it. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Thanks for the reply The wire itself is missing from the pressure switch.
I need to find out where it connects into the loom as it possibly was cut off

Thanks a lot
I found the boost switch wire pushed onto a normal earth connection.
