Hi. im new to the list, just bought a 1980 931. The car needs a little tlc and i could use some help finding some parts. im currently in need of seats, a steering wheel, the panels that go over the rear speakers, and the black trim that runs along the outside of the car. Also, does anyone out there have any reasonable alternatives to the original seats. any help i can get is appreciated.

G'day, welcome to The 'Board!

The "Cars and Parts Wanted/For Sale" forum should get you what you need. Have a read through there and if you can't find what you want, post a request.

I don't know which particular seats fit but there's a good range. I'm sure others can suggest good alternatives (although I like the originals... is there something wrong with your current ones?)

The Turbo's have the best performance of the 924's. You've got yourself a fun car there

But be prepared -some of the parts can be relatively expensive and these cars tend to have fuel system and electrical problems. She's more than 25 years old, y'know

Welcome! Where in MI are you located?

Re: seats - usually nicest to upgrade to some good ones from a 944 - they're all interchangeable, pretty much.

Well, over on the cars and parts forum, I have a good black leather steering wheel from an '80 931 for sale cheap.
