I'm getting to repaint my car, currently it is red(well kinda) and i was thinking if im going through all the work to body work and primer on my car, maybe i should paint it the color i want(not a big fan of red), so i thought i'd ask if yall could poast some pictures of your cars(exterior obviously) so i can take a look and decide what color i want. Personally i think these cars will look good in white(the primer is off white).
please dont tell me to go to search, that thing never works for me.
thanx guys _________________ late 1979 porche 924, red 2.0l NA 5speed snailshell

IMO it'll look like crap if you don't paint it all the same colour..underbonnet etc. _________________ '82 924 NA Euro (hers)

This is Maritas Blue LY5A
I've seen it sprayed new on a 911...I'm in love with this color, plus it's on my car too so I'm a bit biased

Check out this download, its the 924.org's collection of pictures, sort of older, but theres 14Mb of 924's. Good variety of colors...and some very nice cars too. _________________ Mike

They're Bridgestone Potenza RE950's. I like them A LOT. Though I've never had any other nice performance(ish) tire before. But they hold real well in the rain even. _________________ Mike

I like the 944 gunmetal silver colour. I think a good black paintjob would look best though.
white looks good on the 924/ 944 also.
I don't like red on any car except maybe on a ferrari. _________________ 78 924 sold.

Thanks. Typical, the 950's were taken off the market here in favour of the ER30's I think. Your tyres got good reviews.. _________________ '82 924 NA Euro (hers)

I'm A Big Fan Of The "Period Correct" Two Tone. I'm Going To Spray My CGT Track Car Silver Only Because It Already Happens To Be.
Good Luck !

Thanks Gram! It's really a 10 footer...in that picture you can't see the fist sized dent on hood, or the right fender thats bent a little, or the biiiig scratch on the door or the....well you get the idea, I want a repaint and some body repair .
Those tires did get good reviews, I've been pleased with them so far.
Back on topic: that two coat black metallic is stunning, I love the way the color accents the body lines and shape even below the doors, but it sits very well with the black molding. _________________ Mike
