Hey Guys
Finally got round to getting some new dampers for the rear (Sachs), before this however i was getting a slight squeeking and rattle from the rear suspension when going over rough/potholed road, now that i've had the new dampers this is more pronounced. Anyone know what it might be??

Are you boosting Mr. Ant. Go ahead be proud. Lets hear and rub it in to all the US Turbo guys.
Right no shocks in the bumpers, fog lights fiberglass bumpers, pure joy when you stomp on it. Let them know how you really feel.
Me, I have a 79 Euro and I know what you mean but since you are going to do it I can do something else.

Ants,
Are you sure its not just the rear hatch squeeking or something ?, or possibly the exhaust hangers ?. I've done exactly the same as you - replaced the rear shocks only to find what it really needed was hatch pins and new rubber seals.

Hey guys
I don't think its the rear hatch seal, i replaced it 18 months ago and window sealed around the hinges where it flexes (it cured a leak) not sure about the exhaust, i'll have to get the girlfriend to drive round in a circle and listen from outside as well as inside see if i can narrow it down.
