you were looking for the diaphram for
the fuel distributor block. Can you
advice if you have any luck in locating
the part.

Sure.
That prob was solved fairly long ago.
Ended up going to the local scrap yard and salvage a unit from a later KE equipped euro Ford escort.
Swap was direct and easy enough.
