agreed looks like the person spent time on the body and the int, and then he/she did detail the engine bay, however they probably sold it to a neglectful owner or died and the heir to it didnt really want it. too bad _________________ 3 928s, |

.....Right thing to do would be to buy this beauty, find a crashed 931, and swap the engine and transmission... I see it already has the right brakes... _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

| I'm with 924guy what did you decide Neil. Hey did anyone see that Martini Rossi that was listed on Ebay. Would have been a huge project but very cool. |

| I don't know where the car is and I didn't take the pictures. I just wanted your thoughts. I was trying to decide how much it was worth. |

it appears to be in NY, or at least was there at some point with in the past few years, one of the pics shows a piece of a telltale ny reg and inspection sticker (exp 00), one of the pic shows a guy with a "commack" t-shirt, which puts it on long island, about dead center. nice of those guys to wave to us with one finger.. i definatley never saw that car at any club meets or similiar , but possibly Vince might have..
As for value, hard to say ..its obviously been outside , but under cover. white is the most difficlut color to see bad stuff on though.. and it hasnt been cleaned in some time.. cars probably a 77/78 model, since it has the add on a/c that was offered in the early ones.. lots of body mods, looks okay from the pic, but you never know what you could find .. interior looks decent..5 bolt conversion.. weighted down with a ton of older stereo stuff...
know if it runs?... thats gotta be key..
but assuming it does and its not a rust bucket under all that pretty bodywork, im going to guess it worth in the $2200-$3200 usd range..assuming itll clean up and drive ..... or at least thats around what id consider paying.. thats what it would cost for the body conversion alone were you to do it on another car.. so its worth at least that even though its an n/a imho. _________________ Eric

I still don't get it. It's not a Carrera. It's a standard 924 with a Carrera-look body kit. Basically it's less aerodynamic with no extra power.
I'm hoping that the laughter is simply because you know it's not a Carrera and were posting this as a sarcasm thread and you're laughing because I didn't catch the sarcasm. _________________ Shifting is an art, learn it, love it, live it.
