you need to have the images uploaded to a web server first ie NOT on your computer photobucket is one, geocities another
but alot of these sites will not allow the images to display in the forum section, you will just have to link to them,
or you could just e-mail the pictures to him specifically. _________________ 3 928s, |

Hi There
Looks better all the time.
Have you checked the cage is ok with the MSA blue book?
Its just that we used to be told we could not extend to the rear.
Cheers
Simon
PS Got my 944 turbo rad sat in place now, looks ok, is a bit lighter too. _________________ Blown is always best! |

Hi Simon,
As it is a bolt together cage, whereas yours is a welded affair, it is allowable to extend the cage by means of additional bolted in sections.
Same as adding the front section to a rear roll bar system.
Just recieved my '85 944 rear end, so the next major job is disassembling it, rebushing it with rose joints and delrin's,remove the torsion bars, put it all back together, change the clutch(as a precaution), fit the 944 torque tube and tranny, and fit the rear end. Sounds easy eh?
I knew i should have stuck with fishing!!
Then it's off for JRZ 2 way adjustables all round, full geometry set up, dyno run and ready for the 17th!!
And then i can start building the class 1 engine for the following season!!hehehe |

Did you have to change the master cylinder to accomodate the 4 puck front brakes? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Hello Steve,
I did the same thing 2 years ago switched to 944t brakes, trans , torque tube and rear suspension now all alloy and Solid bushings. Had Leda's from before so they stayed. I will forward pics as discussed as i hope to start the season in Jan. with the dreg engine while i deal with preparing
the "race motor" by mid season . IT'S hard to get it done when you have paying customer's race cars to get done first ,THERE IS NO TIME MATE!
