i think i have a long way to go before i could see track time, i just started replacing the belts, timing, water pump/alt, and ac, and im having a hard time with the ac belt coming off i had to take a break i was getting frustrated, i bought all goodyear gatorbacks these are ok right? i have used them on my other vehicles with no problems
also ordered a kn air filter from murrays today, no luck finding a
purolator fuel filter at murrays or autozone i will try united or s/g tomarow
i definetly want to go watch the june 27/28 races at waterford hills |

How are you trying to remove the A/C belt. You found the tensioner and have loosened the pivot bolts, correct? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

| yes i did i also loosened the bolts holding the compressor in and stil it was tight i gave up for tonight im going to bed |

-but obviously to loosen, do the opposite of what is says there. Loosen the large bolt, then also loosen the smaller nut... _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

| i finally got it all back together yesterday, new timing belt and the other two belts, and i cleaned all the gunk out of the air cleaner box and clean air intake for the turbo, after i put it all back together and drove it the bucking was gone ...for about the first 10 minutes then it came back but not as bad as it was thogh, im gonna get this old gas out of it today and change the fuel filter after i put some new gas in it also the k&n filter i ordered should be in today, thanks for all the help everybody!!! |
