Well, if a fellow Porsche-owner from the same time zone posts pics about his 931, I'll do the same. Here's my rig, bought it at May, drove approx. 2000 miles during the summer (well I was kinda busy...), works great etc.

Archie, that's a very pretty car! What are the details on it?

Thanks ideola,

It is euro-spec (naturally) '79, and it is the 273rd 931 ever made, so we're talking about a pretty early car here.

I have 157k km's on the clock, and the engine, cluth, turbo and brakes were all rebuild in less than 20000km's ago. I have good collection of recipes about repairs and maintenance.
Interior is flawless, no cracked dashboard and seats are in perfect condition. Electric windows and mirrors, and no sunroof.
It has leatherette/fabric-seats with red-green-blue center. It also packs touring package (rear wiper, side cushions on center console etc). The turbo was rebuilt in Germany by former KKK's race mechanic (upgraded oil flow), and the wastegate is tweaked just a little bit, in order to get little more boost - about 190 hp at the moment. The all-original CGT-kit was installed by a Porsche race garage in Germany in 1980, at the time the real Carrera GT was introduced - the original owner of the this car tried to order CGT, but all 406 units were sold before it, so he ended up buying the kit and building the next best thing.
So far I'm a 5th owner for this car (the 4th didn't drive it at all), and as far as I'm concerned, all of the owners have been very keen Porsche enthusiasts. The car has been garaged all of this life, so it's rust-free.

By the way, 931's are very rare cars in Finland - we have about 7 of them here. So I'm pretty alone here when it comes to repair or tune-up tips.

very impressive! Based on your description, it doesn't sound like you have an intercooler...if you ever were looking to complete the CGT conversion, you should get ahold of Zuffen here on the board...I believe he may have the bits you need to complete it.

Correct, I don't have intercooler. 951's intercooler is on my to-do-list, but real CGT-intercooler would be even cooler (I don't mean literally here...). There's only one real 924 Carrera GT in Finland, so finding a used intercooler is anyway impossible. 951's unit would also be more cost-effective and probably even better when it comes to cooling the intake air. I'll contact Zuffen, thanks for the tip!

Ah, by the way, does anyone have extra lower pressure pipe for 931? I mean the short, 30cm tube between the charger and the longer, over-the engine pipe? Estonians? Swedes? Anyone?

Can't help you with parts but i must say thats an awesome car you've got there! Aren't you missing the clear lenses too? Or maybe thats only the GTRs?

Thanks 924turboSA for your compliments,

Yes, the GTS/GTR-type headlights would be cool. Just that our road car regulations restrict the possible options for the new headlights, so everything is still under construction. Also the GTS-type headlight is probably little less effective for night time using than normal pop-up candle...we'll see what happens.

I also forgot to mention, that dispite of being 1979-model, my car has later DTC system instead of older S1-type. It also has 3" exhaust pipe (built by Finnish turbo-specialist shop) with two free flowing aftermarket mufflers - yes, sound is very masculine, specially when standing behind the car, or sitting at the driver's seat both doors open.
