Yeah baby, that's what I'm talkin' about! Nice photo!

In all seriousness, Rasta, you made a comment earlier about f/g header panels looking like crap...how do you feel this one looks in person? The pix look great, but you really can't seriously judge body work by photos. From the looks of my unfinished and unmounted LR panel, I think it's going to look great when done...just curious of your impression in person.

My earlier comment about panels looking like ass was in reference to fake 931 headers I have seen. This Lindsey panel definately does not look like ass, and I think it is fine for a track car. . .obviously it has a high level of functionality (housing a Stage IV IC).

But no, the fit ain't perfect. . .looks OK, but on my daily driver I think it would bug me.

rasta

P.S. Check out the lift on those right tires!!

It's kind of creative but it throws off the look of the car.

true, but if it makes the IC more efficient and keeps the motor together, small price to pay i think.
I'm thinking of adding this to my Carrera GTR build, as it is better than the 4 slotted front.

True, but headlights make it a little easier to drive in the dark.

I s'pose you could mount a flashlight somewhere...? Maybe on the roof? In the enlarged photo there's no headlights, is there? Looks all sealed up from light to light.

Ahhh with you now Well, I'd say that is a track only car, however LR do make one for car's that go out in the dark.......

Rasta,

And while we're at it, tell your friend to either firm up his back end, or soften the front. Lifting wheels may look cool, but is a sure sign of a poorly set chassis. Just my 10p you understand

Well, he manages to keep up with GT3s. . .

That pic is under full throttle and max lateral Gs in a 3rd gear corner. . .I think only the right front is actually off the ground. . .but I'll pass it on!

Ah ok. Yeah I forget some people have 'go much faster' priorities.

[quote="Rasta Monsta"]Well, he manages to keep up with GT3s. . . :wink:quote]

What? When they're driven by Miss Daisy perhaps!!! Rasta,

If you look at the picture, there is very little tyre deflection on the outside tyres. If these tyres are radial construction, they will grip, grip, grip, go!! Crossplys are very much more forgiving in terms of their progression. So if a car is lifting a wheel before the tyres let go, there is still more scope for adding in suspension, to keep all 4 wheels in contact. And 4 is always better than 3. i'd say it could take a smidgen more rear sway bar
