very nice, however the CGT had a rubber stirp across the rear bumper, also the spoiler looks to be more of the 944 variant.
still a very stunning car, _________________ 3 928s, |

Worked out it was all the parts from an original car reshelled into a series 2 turbo. It is the original bumper the rubber has been removed and cleaned up, looks a lot nicer without it. Not sure about the spoiler, looks like the right one to me and no reason to think it isn't considering it has a full set of factory carrera parts otherwise. Apart from the flush screen it is impossible to tell without looking at numbers. _________________ Chris |

I would recommend that you install a boost guage and see how much boost you are running, the cgt ran a factory 12PSI where the ROW ran only 10PSI see if they changed the wastegate as well. _________________ 3 928s, |

It's beautiful. I'm insanely jealous.
I'm coming down to Melbourne for the GP. You going? I'd really like to have a close-up look at that car... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Should be going to the GP at some stage, can hear them from my work so would be torture not to go. I work in port melbourne. Shouldn't be a problem to show you the car, let me know closer to the date.

I thought we figured out that the 944 spoiler is the same as the CGT. It sure looks the same to me. I belive it is a 937 part number as well.
They are the same! |

Sounds good, we could organise a concours with enough catogories that we all win a prize. Then everyone will have a Concours winning 924 turbo. _________________ Chris |

if it was in melbourne, I would be a serious runner for 'furthest away australian entry' car.. if it was in brisbane I would have it in the bag! _________________ it's funny, but when they said "Anything is Possible", that's exactly what they meant.... |
