oh ya I'm a SGT (P) E-5 would be SSG E-6 but the Army has a point system 0-800 and most of the time my points to be eligible in my MOS are 798 so It's going to take a little while for me. _________________ 1980 931

Another retired AF SMSGT. My AFSC (MOS for you Army guys) was flight simulators. I retired in '84, and worked for Lockheed Martin for 17 years until I retired again last year. Now I just play golf and work on my Porsche. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

Don't know much about flight simulators It's cheaper to fly are helicopter than it is to build and maintain a simulator. but I have been in the blackhawk and chinnok simulators. I know just by looking at the wiring and amount of electronics involved in one of those simulators It would drive me made to troubleshoot something like that. _________________ 1980 931

I was in the Navy reserve for an enlistment - 3 years active on a little seaside base just south of Virginia Beach and northwest of a pig farm, then 2 years active reserves (weekend warrior as they say) and 1 year inactive reserve - all from '76-'82. Finished as an E-5 Data Processing Tech. Worked mainly as a computer operator. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Hey, no military guys from our Canadian contingent? I have mentioned before that I worked a Canadian Contract with the Canadian Military. A group of really fine guys. I worked with Australian Military also. Man could those guys drink beer. Anyway, for all you military guys and gals, thanks for doing your duty. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

I'm not military but my younger brother is in the Australian Army. Loadmaster (I think that's right?) with the Blackhawks out of Oaky in Queensland. I don't know his 'unit?' My uncle was in the NZ Army and my grandfather was too.
Yeah numbbers, we Aussies can drink beer all right. I'm havin' one now!
Pretty sure it's a National sport. I think we'd be close to World Champions but I reckon Brittish football fans might have us beat in volume, if not in numbers! _________________ '80 924 Turbo |
