Hey guys finally took some pictures of my car with the 944 brakes and 928S4 rims. I think it looks sweet with those wheels and tires. Now just need to fix the paint issues.
Here is one

There are more on my site.

Looks good with those wheels and tires. Them are some meats you got on the back! Do you think you'll ever get them to break loose? I'd ditch those mudflaps though, looks a little PepBoys with'em on. Nice job. _________________ 79 924 Sebring |

Thanks
Well she will chirp them into 2nd. I have not tried to spin them otherwise.
At the moment the rear camber is off and one side hits. I hope to have this solved soon. Calling an alignment shop today. Sears screwed it up and then said "there is no adjustment at the back" Well then how do you explain that it was not hitting before it came in and now it is? Moron!
Anyway one side has got negative camber and fits perfectly. Looks like the 924 turbo alignment on that side. The other looks like it is at 0 or positive camber.
The mud flaps are standard on my car. I really need them to protect the paint back there. I do not want to drill for the turbo style either. _________________ 1982 924

| The wheels look great. Although those mud flaps look to be straight out of the truck stop. I say drill a few holes and get the factory ones. Or just trade in the 924 logos on your existing ones for the chrome nudy girl. |

I did not put in the 944 front struts. There was a bad strut tower bearing and I did not feel like dealing with it. So I sold the assemblies to some one who did not care. Anyway it has all 944 parts other then the struts.
It feels very good. Though I am sure the stiffer springs would have been better. Once I get the alignment fixed it will be even sweeter.
Those are stock mudd flaps. My car came with those. I think they get lost with the 225 tires but they protect the rear of the car so ..... what ever. Some like to paint their cars all different colors, some like to put duel exhaust, some like chrome tips and blue lights. Too each his own I always say. Just enjoy the car!
Thanks all

I like those rims. Looks great on your car.
The 82 931 I got has the 16" 928 style just like that, original equipment even.... I cant wait to find the options codes and figure that out. _________________ My 931s:

fuchs are cool be even better when I get the center caps on
The wider rear track and stiffer front springs are a bonus front track
is plenty wide too with the wonder if an early 44 setup would work on a
early 911. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

Thanks Cbass
We thought it was a rare and original name when we named it it 6 years ago but seems to be very popular now.
And yes those mudd flaps are original to my car. Not those exact ones but when purchaed it came with them. They were on there from the factory.
I like the fact that they keep the crap off the back of the car.... for the most part.
My 924 is in the shop now getting the rear alignment corrected. Finally will be able to see what she can do with the new wheel, tire and suspension from 83 944. My 924 did not come with a rear bar... but now with the 944 set up... she has one!
