Hi,
Forgive me if you have seen this on other forums or the FB groups but I wanted to make sure anyone who might be interested was aware of this kit being an option now.
I will share the link to my Rennlist post which has the relevant info. But long story short I am making kits to bolt up 6-piston Cayenne calipers and 330mm rotors to the early 944 front end, which I believe was shared with the 924T?
PM me here or on RL if interested.

Roughly equivalent to a 62mm single pot or a 44mm double pot caliper.
Big brakes! Would go well on LS conversion or something.
The extreme front bias would be good for track use running slicks I guess would allow you to use it properly. |

Regarding bias, by my math the 17Z/330mm fronts should be a pretty good match for stock 944 turbo rear calipers/rotors...around 72/28% F/R.
The guy I developed the kit with has been using this setup (17Z front/951 rears) with the stock 944 master cylinder successfully for over a year now.
I am shipping out the first batch of kits+rotors today! |

The std 944/931 setup has 69.2/30.8 bias, something bigger would probably be more suitable in the rear to not increase brake distance with those up front, and or try moving the balance with pad choices. Fun setup anyway, pretty friggin massive calipers compared to the Boxster setup i did _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

| In case anyone with a 924 has swapped to "late offset" style 1987+ 944 non-turbo front spindles/hubs I released my 17Z/330mm and 18Z/350mm adapter kits over the weekend. PM me if interested. |

Update - I have finished the 1987+ 944 turbo/S2/968 front 17Z/18Z adapter kits too.
So currently I can help you put Cayenne 6-piston calipers on your car if you have the spindles from any of these:
- 924 turbo
- 82-86 944 n/a
- 87-89 944 n/a
- 87-95 944 turbo/S2/968
PM me if interested.
1986 951 will be coming up soon. |
