Hey Guys,
I'm doing some head work and I plan to replace all of my valves on my 931.
I am having a hard time locating valves and tappets online. Do I need to call the Porsche dealer? I also need valve seals, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought mines from here, though i bought only exhaust valves since the intake were in good condition. I dont know about the longevity yet since the engine dont have alot of run time yet.

Tappets in original style could maybe be bought here, i have a bag of used ones instead:)

I have a both a complete 931 head with valves, springs, retainers etc.probably not a complete set of cam followers. I also have a set of 7mm stem valve blanks. The exhaust are 36mm and would need to be cut to length and the retainer rings cut. The intakes are I believe 46mm and would need to be cut down to 40mm as well as the above. The valves are Ferrera, I could not find anyone in this country who makes any valves with 9mm stems anymore. I have also 7mm guides that would need to be turned down to fit. Cam followers that take shims (old ALFA 1300 9mm easy to get from Alfa specialists in USA) used to be available from Sweden.

Shimming valves sounds like it is really hard, but I set up my first head I had 6 out of the 8 right the first time. At the time they were about $6 ea. When I checked them a year later I changed out 5 valves, but enough were swap able I only had to buy two more.

PM if interested.
