I am going to ad a Weltmeister chip to my 88 924s. I was recommended to get either a K&N or BMC filter. Which is better?

Waste of money, use stock paper filter.

What do you think extra 2hp feels like?
It feels like nothing in the 924.

What do you think a few beers feel like?
It feels good...and that's what you can get if you buy the paper filter instead of the KN or BMC.

Cheers!

All cars have different filter setups from the factory. But I tried a KN panel filter i had laying around while i was on the dyno(on my 931), and it lost quite a bit of power, and it didn't even sound better while doing it. Wouldn't do it if you haven't seen some good data on the 944 that it actually makes a positive difference.
