RHD version will be ready for registering starting with next week.
Just waiting for some measurements to correctly dimension the RHD specific extra parts.

Shot a quick video of a sprinted drive and some highway driving...tell me what you think.

Also, we dont have 10 people yet, so i'm going to post on FB and YT that the kit is ready for anyone wanting a copy to speed things up.

Very cool! Nice drive, you can hear it better, and definitely tell how it pulls compared to a stock NA!

Yes you can see and hear the difference, when you drive it you can also clearly feel it.
I'd say that this kit puts the 924 somewhere in between the euro 924 performance and the 931...perhaps around the 924S but with the torque being available any time.
I'll do a dyno run soon though.

In the meantime, we have 6 guys until now and hoping to close the first 10 list within the next week so we can move forward with the group buy.
I'll start the 3D printing in advance early next week.

7 now, 3 more and we are complete for the first batch.

Starting to think about my next mini project, which is intercooling this setup.
For that we'll need the upper thermostat housing from the 924 turbo (pipe goes in a different direction compared to the NA). Also a new coolant pipe is needed.
The purpose is to make some room for the charge pipes to go down in between the engine and the coolant tank.
924 upper housing outputs sideways
924 turbo housing outputs forwards

When you intercooler, how much boost can the SC produce?

SC can produce a lot, the 924 engine, CIS & ignition can not take too much.

I first have to place an air temp sensor to see how much the current setup heats the air, and then increase the boost to see how much that one heats up the air. Perhaps it makes no sense to add an intercooler at such low boost levels.
The average application uses way more boost than what i'm using...so maybe an intercooler is not cost effective for this low boost application.

Allright, i dont like spamming with this kind of stuff, but for the sake of the guys that already registered and are waiting, here it goes:

EDIT:
1 spot left on the supercharger kit group buy!
My plan is to wait until the end of this week and then start weather the 10 spots are filled or not.

Well t-minus-6-8-weeks here we come! You want time to drag on, just position excitement far enough off in the distance you can still anticipate, right?

Next driving season will see my Weissach 924 NA transformed. Very excited.

Hey guys! I’m new here and in the middle of a 924 restoration and overhaul.

I would love to be included in this group but if you are still doing N/A LHD versions… I don’t know how to get a hold of you on social media. Sending you a PM here

Jacob, I'm excited as well and like i previously mentioned, i will do my best to speed up the production and avoid any delays.
I really hope to meet your expectations and I'm counting on all of you for feedback so that we can learn and improve for the future.

Michael, got your PM and replied.

Production has already started and raw materials & machine time already paid for. I covered the 10th place for my own future project, but I'll give you the space as my project is further into the future.
So, check your PM, drop me an email and you've caught the last spot on this train

Quick update: The group buy is now closed as production capacity is a maximum of 10 sets per round (and i squeazed Daniel in as the 11th).
The machines and crew I have access to can only do so much.
Thank you for your interest, trust and participation guys.
Cant wait to see videos and photos of your 924s with this kit on!

Some epic and unforgettable drives with my buddy, rushing up the hills in my 924SC and his 944T.
AFR is 13.7 at full chat, couldn't ask for better.

The first batch of kits is coming along nicely, hoping to be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.

EDIT: Since nothing broke all this time, I increased the crank pulley size to get a 2:1 ratio for the supercharger instead of 1.9:1 what i had before.
Just came back from a quick test drive and the car is even more spirited and eager to go.
There is a bit more boost everywhere on the RPM range and i think this is the limit of what the NA CIS can handle and the limit of what power these cars should have in this improved stock form.
Guys that will install this kit: I strongly suggest you make sure your brakes are well sorted

I'm almost ready for delivering the first round of 10 kits.
It is really a lot of work for me and not easy to fit within 8 weeks, but its doable.
If everything goes well with the first wave, I'll probably do another 10 kits as my confidence in the reliability of the kit and how well the 924 takes this has grown again this year.
Next wave is going to be early next year. Cost may be a bit higher than the first wave but nothing crazy, as always there are a few things you didnt think would take so long or would cost so much

A couple of videos i made related to the kit and the 924 in general:
