I am looking to purchase a 1977 924. I went and looked at it today and it runs and drive fine however I noticed while idling it has a very slight tick coming from engine bay but when you hold the clutch in it gets quieter. Anyone know what the cause is should I be concerned?
I will be paying 2800 CAD for the car

Probably release bearing related, i'd find another because it's a big job doing the clutch on a 924.
