Accidentally bought this..

“Porsche 944 Turbo K27/6 PowerHausTurbocharger no shaft play, this turbo was build by PowerHaus it was owned by the legendary David Raines, this turbo was done by him and it pulled 336rwhp at 18psi. It was used for a short time until owner due to work demand parked the car for 10 years.”

It is a crap /6 hot side so it’s only good to me for its compressor side, which is some K27 already mated to the K26..
Can’t wait to take it apart and find out exactly what K27 it is!!
I can’t find anything on the comp housing numbers or the plate numbers..

Cold side should pull right off and go right onto a 931 turbocharger.. K27 mating work should be all done for me already..

Anyone ever heard of “Powerhaus”?
Hope they knew well what they were doing sizing a K27 for that 951..
I’m hoping for something in the 306X size range..

I also kinda just made an offer on a Lances Delta S4 turbocharger, which is basically a 951S 2670 compressor on a 931 bearing housing with a 931 or /8 turbine..
Basically just slap a 931 turbine housing onto it..

Also just found a new good KKK part number database http://centerturbo.com/public/docs/KC.pdf

Things just got very interesting, i guess its aimed for your old 931, with this you will surely be able to stress test the fuel system with much more airflow, and hopefully interesting amounts of horsepower.

Im looking forward to when you can take it apart and measure the compressor wheel so qe know what it is and how much it can flow. Though it is a bit annoying that we are more or less stuck to the #6 turbine housing if no adapter is used or #8 GTS turbine housing is found laying around.

Nothing too interesting is going to happen soon.. I haven't even been home in over 20 days..
I can't really do anything..

Might be able to measure it soon, but rebuilding/swapping a turbo, probably not..
Sucks..

Powerhaus seems that they were pretty big in the 944 turbo world in the 90s, making hybrid turbos etc

Well, my offer went through on this one too..
https://turbocentras.com/parts-catalog/5326-970-7040.html
Coming all the way from Georgia.. The country, wherever that is..

Lancia Delta S4.. How can you pass that up?
Supposed to have made 245 bhp on a 1.8L engine..

It’s basically a 951s compressor, 931 bearing housing, and 931 or 951/8 turbine..
Should be completely drop in for a 931..

Damn I need to stop this spending money..
I’m going to need to sell a turbo or 2..

Which one should the 941 get?

Thats an odd one for sure, that's from the group b homologation model. Ive seen it in the KKK catalogue i have, since its the same spec as my turbo 2670 and #6 turbine housing.

Got a t-shirt somewhere

Edit: There was also a Powerhouse ll (2) company specializing in gears and I think they were not related. Just had competing names

I got a really good deal on the k27 Powerhaus turbo, but paid pretty good for the Lancia turbo..

But, compared to what 951S turbos go for, it was a pretty good deal, especially considering it has the 931 bearing housing and won’t have to fuss with a 951 bearing housing..
I think it’s pretty cool..

Yeah Cedric, basically the exact same spec as the 2670 hybrid turbos made for 931s, like yours..

Edit: I’m thinking I might should move this Lancia turbo to [s]the highest bidder[/s] someone who would appreciate it and possibly use it for the preservation of one of those rare cars..

The ex Morghen K27 in mine has huge legs at the top end ...... unfortunately I have small balls and back off when it hits 140mph ....... for the sake of my licence mostly but also fear of braking something. Love to see where it tops out at. Pretty certain it will blow through 155 until it runs out of revs + gears.
