Almost there, i just want to make sure this production setup works and holds...so i'll drive it on my car for a bit and then i'll make a group buy list.
I've changed the pulley a bit(thinner so lighter), the charged tubes are now 3D printed and epoxy with carbon or glass fiber reinforced, also the recirculation and extra pressure circuit is a bit different and i want to test all this during the hot summer before sending this stuff to people.
Since the fiber wrap guy is late with his work, I'm working on the next set of improvements for the 3D printed parts. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

| Maybe you have said this already, but how are you solving the extra fuel requirement? |

I havent done anything to enrich.
I'm counting on the fact that the charger lifts the plate higher and the metering head delivers more fuel.
For such a small increase in extra air i expect that the CIS can keep up without any modifications.
I have to install my wideband and check actual AFR numbers but the spark plugs look light brown...so overall fueling looks ok for what plugs reading is worth. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Finally got the first set of parts.
These will go into my car next week and then its final testing time.
If nothing breaks within the next two weeks of use i'll start the group buy list.

| I signed up for this forum after reading this thread. Great work on the kit! Love how non-intrusive it is. Count me in for a set! |

Jes, you picked just the right thread to read. One of the most influential members of this forum flexing his muscles at yet another level
Morghen, I just noticed the nice composite reinforcement work. Some really serious effort there especially post processing to make it look the way it does
Also, I can't find the picture, but I think it was you who had a cylinder head or maybe even a block in your living room I always thought that was the coolest, like parking a ducati or something similar inside the house
I need to find the pic _________________ 1980 931 since 1989

Thank you for the kind words Mike
I may have a picture somewhere on an old HDD or CD but not online.
In my old apartment i had a 931 block, crank, turbo head and at one point a set of OZ Futura wheels on display in my living room.
Good times, now i have that supercharger desk mount to look at and when i turn around i can see my 924 and my 987C across the terrace.
In 2017 i moved to a new house i built with my ex wife who is an achitect.
Regarding the supercharger setup, its awesome to drive, and the concept works and holds very well on the humble NA, making it considerably more fun to drive.
However with all the prototyping and time spent on it, i'm still not happy on how easy it is to assemble it. I fixed a couple of major issues in regards to assembly and tolerances, but i have recently found a couple more.
I want to solve these quickly and allow other people to enjoy their NA more as i am...so for those waiting for this, please wait a bit more, i want that you guys have a good time upgrading your 924 as well.

Very interested, keep me in mind if you start making a list for buyers. Just need to know a price and such. _________________ 1979 924 (Daily driver EFI)
