Just noticed that my drivers seat doesn't lock in the up position. The lever on the side is stuck on the open position. I can see the mechanism on the seat where it turns, but for some reason it doesn't move at all.

Any idea on how to fix that without taking the seats out of the car? :/

No, but with a 1/4 drive socket in 10mm you should be able to remove the seats in about 10 minutes, I just did. the 1/4 socket worked because of the thinner walls. Good luck.
