I was checking out E-bay tonight and got 501 hits for porsche 924
This is the most I've seen there ever.
I like to check to see if anyone bids on the $100.00 REBUILT water pump.

I saw that water pump there too. It's been listed about three times now and no one has ever bid on it.
BTW, I did buy something from a guy off ebay recently and haven't received it yet, though I paid him almost three weeks ago. If I don't get it this week, I probably got ripped off. Not a bunch of money but still....If that's what happened, I'll post his user i.d. here so everybody knows not to deal with him. Gotta' be really careful if you're using ebay.

I have had a lot of success with ebay..........i am lucky....at least ebay is a contract, and legal, you complain to ebay if you don't get your product and you get your money back eventually.
I have tried to sell my drum gear privately through www.drums.com, and i swear to god I have never in my life seen a bunch of immature lame farts, they tell me ok i am buying the cymbal, i sent the money, and then a month later they say "i don't want it, no i didn't send the money"
I am forced to sell all my stuff on ebay with te exception of 924 parts and one or two drum things, because if there is no rules (ebay is legal) there are a lot of people who are a-holes and never end up paying, or they end up paying you when it has come to the time that you can't even remmber what you charged them any more!!

When I sell stuff privately on 924.org etc some peopel don't pay or don't pay for weeks, where as ebay it is LEGAL and they have to pay...most people on 924org have been great, the guys i know well like dwak the duck, dave2, ponz the italian, L P , those guys are fast.

by the way all Rick wyma paid up just a month or two late but he paid.

I had a two page response to you Lars, but decided not to use up space with a tirade about ebay. Suffice to say, it is a BUYER BEWARE situation. 'Nuff said. (if you'd like to read the tirade, email me. It's a bit long to post here.) Just remember that if you're buying or selling using that venue, be kind to you fellow 924 owners; buy from them, especially if you see them on this board, and sell to them at fair prices and fair shipping costs. Because those who frequent this board know that WE WILL HUNT THEM DOWN AND &*$% THEM if they rip off other owners. Have a nice day!

Ebay is legal, that is what I like.
Again, most 924 owners i have done business with are great, but when i have to sell my drum gear, they are all a bunch of little ass wipes.
