Koni's and i think Bilstiens have a lifetime warranty. so you dont have to worry about them blowing out.

I live in the Detroit area. I have Bilsteins on my 931, which was for years a (summer) daily driver. Now slowly returning to that status after its rebuild.

The shocks are still there. The roads are shittier than ever. I still can't even remember when I put the Bilsteins on. Maybe around '03 or '04.

So yeah, buy good products, they'll last.

Do you have shortened springs or lowered suspension?

Good question - I'll add to the list, missing/blown bumpstops?

I just bought dust covers and bump stops from ideola last week, planning on getting cartridges this weekend.

Why wouldn't they? You can comfortably do it with a good set of standard shocks aswell, the car is designed for it... But of course rest of the suspension and alignment should be in order as well..

...you're gonna want some good brakes too.

I assume you have the M471? What pads? Fluid? How old?

I'm wondering how you plan to make a 924 go 140.
